Daisy Marguerite Hughes (American 1883-1968) was an impressionist painter, teacher and lithographer. She studied with L. E. G. MacLeod at the Los Angeles School of Art and Design; the Art Students League in NY under George Elmer Browne, Ralph Johonnot, C. P. Townsley, and Rudolph Schaeffer. A lifelong resident of Los Angeles, she exhibited locally and taught art in the public schools.
