Helen DuBon Hyde (American 1899-1988) was also known as Helene DuBon and Helen D. Hyde. She studied at Pratt Institute and at the Art Student’s League with Robert Henri, Irving Wiles, and George Bridgman, and in France with William Merritt Chase; she painted in Maine with Marsden Hartley. Hyde exhibited at Allied Artists of America, Metropolitan Galleries, Audubon Artists, and the Nassau Arts League. She lived and worked in New York City.
