Walter Wurdeman and Welton Becket, together with Charles Plummer created some of the most illustrious buildings in Southern California in the 1930s. This prime example of their Art Deco style burned to the ground on May 24, 1989, but captured, among many other treasures, in Robert Landau’s new book, Art Deco Los Angeles, with an essay by noted architectural historian Alan Hess. These photographs were the subject of our most recent exhibition. We have a few signed copies available for sale at $55, and a copy of the book will accompany the photograph.
