The focus of the work is to illustrate the astonishing variety of abstract and unique three-dimensional forms that result from combining objects developed via the mathematics of spherical harmonics, the flowing, swirling, and twisting thin fabric-like strands created by dedicated programming methods to wrap around and intertwine with the objects. The combination of the two techniques, when layered with surface enhancements such as texture, properties such as translucence, reflected light, and color, among many properties, produces a variety of glass-like objects and reflective opaque objects. The technique is illustrated in the twelve works shown on the two adjacent displays.
